We do quite a bit of work with complex robotics and motion control with our kiosk and automated retail customers. We’ve used motion control and I/O boards from many sources… both off the shelf and custom. We see a gap and we’re going to fill it.

We just powered on the first couple subsystems of our reference control board. This is a reliable and cost effective solution for our motion control customers. This design provides everything we need and nothing we don’t. The best part is that we can rapidly customize the design, quickly prototype, and move into scalable production.

And our favorite benefit? Since we usually write the PC base UI software we have a beautiful integration path for our customers.
